- This 1977 Ford Bronco Sport was previously sold on BaT in February 2020 and acquired by the seller later that year. A multi-year refurbishment was completed in 2023 and involved replacing the 302ci V8, refreshing the three-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case, and refinishing the truck in orange following bodywork and frame repairs. The brakes and suspension were overhauled, and a dual-exhaust system was installed. Replacement Parchment vinyl upholstery covers the front bucket seats and rear bench, and additional equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, power steering, a removable hardtop, and chrome bumpers. This Bronco is now offered with a Deluxe Marti report, the owner’s manual, refurbishment photos, and a clean Missouri title.
- The body was removed from the frame and refinished in orange with a white stripe following rust repairs and the replacement of the firewall, fenders, rocker panels, floor panels, and door jambs. grille, according to the seller. The tailgate and bumpers were also replaced, and frame repairs were made behind the rear axle. The truck is equipped with a removable hardtop, a black grille, a swing-away rear tire carrier, and dual side mirrors.
- Refurbishment work on the braking system involved replacing the front discs and rear drum as well as the master cylinder and installing stainless-steel lines. Steel 15″ were refinished and are mounted with 235/75 Goodyear Wrangler Radial tires. The power steering pump was also replaced along with the shock towers, per the seller. Manually locking front hubs are equipped.
- Replacement Parchment vinyl upholstery covers the front bucket seats and rear bench, and the door panels and carpets were also replaced. The AM radio does not work.
- The replacement steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership.
- The replacement 302ci V8 was installed in 2023, and components replaced include the water pump, alternator, and dual exhaust system. An aluminum radiator is also equipped.
- Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission, transfer case, and differentials were refreshed as part of the refurbishment work, according to the seller.
