  • This 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT is powered by a 400ci V8 mated to a replacement four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Finished in two-tone white and black over a black cloth and vinyl interior, the truck is equipped with a removable fiberglass hardtop, 15″ turbine-style wheels with 33″ tires, a 2″ suspension lift kit, manually locking front hubs, four-wheel disc brakes, a receiver hitch, power steering, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Pioneer push-button AM/FM/cassette stereo.
  • We offer Deluxe Marti report, engine installation receipts, a sales brochure, a set of factory wheels, and a clean Washington D.C. title.
  • The truck was finished from the factory in a Deluxe TuTone Wimbledon White and Raven Black paint scheme and various body panels are said to have been repainted under prior ownership. Exterior details include a removable black fiberglass hardtop, chrome bumpers, black Western-style mirrors, a bright-finished grille, and a Curt receiver hitch. Flaws consist of paint chips on the hardtop and rocker panels as well as scratches on the doors.
  • Bright 15″ turbine-style wheels with black accents are mounted with 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 white-letter tires. A non-matching spare is mounted to the swing-out rear carrier. The truck is equipped with power steering and manually locking front hubs, and a 2″ suspension lift kit was installed under prior ownership. A rear disc brake conversion was completed in 2018.
  • The interior features two rows of bench seats upholstered in black vinyl with patterned cloth inserts as well as faux woodgrain trim on the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. Additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, front rubber floor mats, wing windows, and a Pioneer push-button AM/FM/cassette stereo that is linked to Pioneer speakers. The driver’s seat bottom is torn, and rust is visible in the door jambs.
  • Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and alternator charging status. A B&M transmission temperature gauge is mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 70k miles. Total mileage is unknown
  • The 400ci V8 was rebuilt by Jasper Engines utilizing their class II components and was installed in July 2018, at which time the engine mounts, upper radiator hose, thermostat, spark plugs, and fuel lines were replaced. A K&N air cleaner is installed along with an aftermarket carburetor. Corrosion is present on the brake booster and master cylinder.
  • The factory automatic transmission was removed and replaced with a four-speed manual unit under previous ownership, and it is linked to a dual-range transfer case. An aftermarket exhaust system is said to be installed, and the truck was equipped with an increased-capacity fuel tank from the factory.
